A part of the carbon family, shungite neutralizes free radicals and chemicals in water (like carbon filters for our drinking water). With a content of 98% carbon and fullerenes (C60 molecule), shungite nuggets have been used throughout history for it's highly powerful filtrating and curative properties. Pure elite shungite stones are naturally a shiny black and are much softer than the Type 3 black shungite which is only about 30% carbon fullerenes and filled with many more minerals which is why it's important to use Elite shungite in your drinking water.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Wash the shungite stones to remove any fine powder. Place 100g of shungite in 1 liter (2 pints or 1 quart) of water that is stored in a glass or ceramic container for 24 to 72 hours. Drink daily.
Shungite keeps indefinitely. However, it is best to purify the shungite every 4-6 months in the sun which will help to recharge the fullerenes and avoid the accumulation of nitrates, chlorine, etc. If your water is heavily chlorinated or polluted replace shungite every 6mo - year.
